Lomers Removals & Storage · Surrey & Sussex
Bringing a family removals business to life on social

The challenge
Lomers is an established, family-run removals business with over 45 years’ experience moving homes and businesses across Surrey, Sussex and beyond.
Its reputation was built on years of word of mouth, but its social media didn’t yet reflect the people, care and personality behind the business. The opportunity was to create a warmer, more engaging presence while reinforcing the experience, professionalism and customer service Lomers is known for.
The approach
Content strategy & creative
I developed an ongoing Facebook and Instagram content strategy that moves beyond purely promotional content, combining real moves, behind-the-scenes moments, team stories, customer feedback, practical advice and timely seasonal content.
Content is planned month by month, combining authentic photography from the team with branded creative to create a consistent and recognisable presence.
Brand storytelling & personality
I developed a warmer, more human voice that brings the family-run nature of Lomers to life.
Real moments from life on the road — the people, places, unexpected situations and stories behind each move — are turned into engaging content that gives the business a recognisable personality and helps customers get to know the team behind the brand.
Expertise & trust
Service-led content answers the questions and concerns customers have when planning a move, while practical advice, customer reviews and real-life examples reinforce the experience, care and professionalism behind the service.
Partnerships & community
I also use content to support Lomers’ wider relationships within the community — from professional partnerships and local connections to its fundraising activity for BEAT – Billingshurst Emergency Assistance Team.
The outcome
Lomers now has a more consistent, human and distinctive social presence that reflects the business behind the brand — experienced, professional, family-run and full of personality.
Ongoing content keeps the business visible between customer moves, builds familiarity and trust, and gives prospective customers a much stronger sense of the people they’ll be trusting with their move.
This is Ongoing support, one of the four ways to work with me.
